He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, son, and friend and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Charlene, sons Chad (Emily) of Midvale, Burt of Fountain Green, Ron (Holly) of Fountain Green, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Earl was an avid trap shooter and loved doing it with his dad, sons, and friends.Įarl was a member of The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including the bishopric, member of the high council, high priest group leader, and spent many years serving in the temple.Įarl was preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Myrth, his sister and brother-in-law Myrna and Jack Nunley, and brother Lowell Ray Oldroyd. Earl loved spending time with his sons coaching their Little League teams, hunting, fishing, farming, and horseback riding. They were happily married for over 57 years.Įarl and Charlene were the proud parents of three sons: Chad, Burt, and Ron. On Aphe married the love of his life, Charlene Duncan in Bountiful, UT, later sealed on Apin the Jordan River Temple. Earl joined the Utah National Guard in 1965 and served for 5 years. Earl graduated from Snow college in 1962 and worked as a machinist for 40 years. He graduated from North Sanpete High school in 1960, he played on the basketball and baseball teams and always had a love of sports. Earl grew up in Fountain Green, Utah and loved it there. Earl was born Apin Moroni, Utah the second of three children born to Lowell Clinton and Myrth Kendall Oldroyd. Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Earl Clinton Oldroyd, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, after a long illness.
